While the circus has always readily embraced the new technologies of its time and place, the contemporary appropriation of “digital” tools for the creation of hybrid circus forms remains a rare and distinctive practice. What are the reasons for this seemingly paradoxical situation? Several artists with unconventional profiles and explorers of these fields will discuss and share their experiences with technologies such as virtual reality, generative and interactive video, computer programming, or the artistic and political re-appropriation of digital technologies and their industrialized uses… How can these artistic approaches contribute to a new form of circus creation?
An understanding of French will improve your experience at this conference.

He was also a programmer at several cultural venues between 2008 and 202: the Lieu Unique national theater in Nantes, the TNG national dance center in Lyon, and the Théâtre de l’Agora – national theater in Essonne.
Corinne trained as an aerial artist at the Lido (ESACTO). In 2018, she founded Compagnie Fheel Concepts, which creates shows that blend circus and digital arts and rely on software for live performances. Born in Grenoble in 1979, Adrien Mondot’s work is at the intersection of juggling and computer innovation and it explores and questions movement.
He founded the Adrien M company in 2004 in the context of the Convergence 1.0 project, and he went on to win the Jeunes Talents Cirque prize. In 2010, he met Claire Bardainne, and together they re-founded the company, and it became Adrien M & Claire B.
Working in tandem, they create shows, installations, and sensory experiences, often through collaborations, that blur the boundaries between the visual and performing arts. Their best-known works include XYZT, Pixel, Dernière minute, Le mouvement de l’air, Acqua Alta, Mirages et Miracles, and Faunes. In 2024, En amour, created for the Musée de la Musique at the Philharmonie de Paris, concluded their joint cycle of creation.
