Guillaume Clayssen’s show is a combination of soundscape, philosophy lesson, and acrobatic performance. With this work, the director takes a wry look at notions of intelligence and stupidity. On a stage transformed into a classroom, we find him alongside circus artist Mahamat Fofana. A teacher and a student, the two tell us the little-known story of the concept of intelligence, from the invention of IQ tests to AI.
Created through workshops in schools, the show is punctuated by audio recordings of young people and teachers. In harmony with these voices, the acrobat-dancer conjures up a routine that varies and adapts while the speaker-philosopher embarks on a constantly evolving dialogue.
