Premiering at BIAC 2025, this poetic show is a quest for connection. Camille and Manolo are a pair of extraordinary artists and for 30 years they have been forging a profound and close relationship between humans and horses. For them, the centaur is a poetic creature, a lifestyle choice, and a utopian dream.

Entre chiens et loups is emblematic of their creative vision and their work at the nexus of the wild and the domestic. Accompanied by a spellbinding musical score, these two artists, along with four stallions, take to the air. In a burst of energy or in a slow-motion embrace, they perform beautiful figures composed of vaulting and repetitive loops.
They offer us an organic form of dance for six bodies. Until they become one.

Biography

In Greek mythology, a centaur is a half-human, half-horse creature. The Théâtre du Centaure draws on this legend in each of its productions. Founded in 1989 and based in Marseille, the company is run by Camille and Manolo, two utterly distinctive and totally complementary artists who are at once different and inseparable.
