In this high-flying show, the artist Edward Aleman challenges ten performers by giving them one hour to master a ten-minute act of flight. Will they be able to do it?
On a stage that has been transformed into a playground, they begin to perform a series of jumps. Then hand-to-hand balancing, teeterboard, and trampoline… These acrobatic birds compete against each other as much as they help each other, performing a series of breathtaking feats in a perfectly choreographed routine.
As they defy the laws of gravity, the acrobats push their limits. For the duration of a jump, we see them escape as they let themselves go and become free as air.
For each of them, jumping also means moving forward, taking risks. And always starting again and again, pushing themselves beyond the limits of vertigo.

This show was followed by the production of a triptych about the quest for identity and a collaborative project involving plays by David Bobée (including Dios Proveerà). In 2019, Edward Aleman worked with young people to produce the show Éternels Idiots and then followed that project with TRAP, a cross between a workshop and a show that combined circus and music.
