Faced with the impermanence of all things – Anitya in Sanskrit – we must not give in to despair, quite the contrary. For Inbal Ben Haim, all destruction carries with it the promise of reconstruction. The circus artist brings this idea to life in this show through the combination of circus and visual arts. It all begins with the contemplation of an immense sculpture composed of a multitude of intertwined threads. The artist moves slowly through it. She holds out strings to the audience and invites them to pull. Suddenly, the structure disappears. What to do in the face of this void? Inbal Ben Haim then invites the audience to come together to reinvent this magical space in a different way.
