Warning: there will be fits of mad laughter! In a minimalist setting, an acrobat performs acrodance, an artistic discipline combining dance and circus, while a beatboxer accompanies her with music. Together, they explore the relationship between air and the body, and the sounds created by their movements. Performing very close to the audience they use the ryhthym of acrobatics to have fun with all kinds of sound explosions. They surprise the audience as much as they surprise themselves. Torn between apprehension and laughter, Baoum! questions the limits we set ourselves in society. This creation offers a reflection on fear and the transgression of taboos. It’s an explosive piece!

Since 2016, SCoM – Coline Garcia has been creating contemporary circus shows designed specifically for young audiences. The company’s pieces are rooted in children’s everyday lives, stripped of naïveté, and stimulate the imagination. Committed to performing in rural areas, the company is developing portable structures that can be adapted to venues that do not have the necessary equipment.
