Fanny Austry is a “suspensive”, a woman of the air, as the members of the Rhizome company call themselves. With Bleu tenace, she offers a solo performance six meters in the air. A moment of suspension where self-transcendence meets contemplation.
A blue mast stands out against the azure sky. The artist climbs it with her bare hands, dressed all in blue. In the evanescent calm, she clings to this “structure-sculpture”, a kind of fragment of an ideogram, and climbs relentlessly.
To the rhythm of electro music composed by Marielle Chatain, Fanny Austry defies the void. The result is a breathtaking performance. Quite simply, extraordinary.

Biography
Created by Chloé Moglia, the art of suspension is at the heart of the work of the Compagnie Rhizome. This artistic approach results in shows that combine aesthetics and philosophy to produce a form of reverie.
