In a show she likes to describe as “self-body-trait”, Katell Le Brenn shares her journey as a tightrope walker and contortionist. Her delightful story combines circus and theater as it explores the impact of high-level physical training on her daily life. Through four luminous scenes, boldly staged by David Coll Povedano, the artist transports us to four key moments in her life as an acrobat. To the rhythm of beatboxing or Schubert’s melodies, she gracefully performs a series of moves. And through the power of her words, she awakens a thousand sensations within us. Her introspection, as intimate as it may be, is universal. It is a beautiful ode to life. Sometimes you need to stand on your head to see the world right side up.
