Deux pierres d’un coup

Compagnie Charge Maximale de Rupture
Wall-trampoline and Chinese pole
Thu. 5 Feb.

A truck, a trampoline, and a Chinese pole. A delightful playground for these two acrobats as they emerge from their residency. Currently in the research phase, they are exploring their limits with this new creation. They leap and bounce relentlessly, composing an astonishing choreographic score before our eyes. The short piece they present to us, lasting about 20 minutes, has already demonstrated a number of theatrical elements. In the centre, the trampoline sets the tempo. The wall provides a counterpoint, a resistance in the air. The Chinese pole slows down their actions. As for the truck, its honking horn reminds us that the show is far from over. Between jumps, the performers carry each other, help each other up, and even surprise each other. Through their complicity, they reveal the most beautiful aspects of human relationships, between support and mutual aid.

Performance for public spaces at the Citron Jaune from Jan. 26 to Feb. 5.
