In this beautiful production for the whole family, three circus artists explore a sand-covered space and perform a series of acrobatics and balancing acts. They trace out landscapes and construct a one-of-a-kind structure out of three enormous bamboo poles.

As their adventure unfolds, lines are formed, pushed back, and then woven together. There is a sonic wave created by the reeds. Traces are drawn like so many ways of connecting things together.

Through artistic gestures, the manipulation of objects, and the use of sound, the artists take a close look at the early years of childhood and how this is the moment when relationships with the body and with others are being built.

This work is the first part of a triptych entitled La Vie des Lignes.
