Faune

Compagnie Libertivore
Choreographed circus
Fri. 6, Fri. 13 and Sat. 14 Feb.

Since time immemorial, deer have fascinated humans with their majesty and power. Graceful and untameable, they fuel myths of the past and the present. They fascinate with their moulting and the shedding of their antlers, which each year beautifully embodies the cycle of life. Set to music, three circus performers allow themselves to be transported by this wild figure of the stag. On stage, they seize its antlers and transform them into circus equipment. On the ground and in the air, they manipulate them, hook them, suspend them in a rich and daring acrobatic and choreographic playground. Through their movements, a gentle blend of strength and delicacy, the artists evoke hunting, bellowing, the dance of seduction or intimidation, the herd in motion. A vast animal imagination imbued with wisdom.
