This dystopian tale is a cross between circus, dance, and theatre. In a world without sunshine, machines have taken over and shaped the existence of human beings. Like fallen angels, they look at each past each other in a disturbing yet funny robotic ballet. Suddenly, one of them decides to revolt.
Illuminated by a beautiful play of light, seven acrobats dressed all black embody the struggle against a tightly controlled society. Aided by articulated mechanical arms, metal structures, and a mobile Chinese pole, they soar through the air and dance across the floor, swept away by the desire for a better future.
This enchanting show inspires hope and serves as a genuine argument for nature in the face of technology.

Founded in 2012, the Compagnie L’Oublié(e) is led by director and choreographer Raphaëlle Boitel. The company has a distinctive approach to the contemporary circus, mixing the arts (theatre, circus, dance, music, film) and inventing new apparatuses for each new show. The result is a blend of tragedy and comedy that are conjured up in a profoundly metaphorical style. www.cieloubliee.comInstagramFacebookShow music
