BasarKus is different from the others. A creature with two heads, four arms, and four legs, he rolls around endlessly. He’s happy as he is, in perfect harmony with himself. But when he discovers that he has two hearts, he wonders. What if there were actually two of them?
The circus duo of Basil Le Roux and Markus Vikse embody this double being with verve and virtuosity. Stuck together and seemingly impossible to separate, they nonetheless seek to dissociate themselves. In a physical show that is at the frontier between circus and dance, the two performers regale the audience with acrobatics and juggling.
Their bodies move towards and away from each other in an attempt to transform from one to two. Their mischievous adventure explores the universal quest for identity.
