Five men find themselves together in a Fiat Panda. They are returning from their father’s funeral, the urn of ashes along with them. As they are driving along, their reunion suddenly turns sour. And this is when a whirlwind of high-level acrobatics erupts.
With an exuberant musical accompaniment by three multi-instrumentalist artists (a mix of jazz, brass, and electro-acoustic), these five men lack neither ideas nor energy as they partake in lifts, knife-throwing, Chinese poles, teeterboards, acrobatics, and the appropriation of everyday objects.
With this iconic car as a centerpiece, they argue with each other and take to the skies. And they sweep us along with them on this one-of-a-kind road trip. The result is a hilarious and gripping journey.
“A flood of good ideas, served up without any concern for parsimony (…), an archetype of what we call a generous show.” | Toute la cultre

The Franco-Swiss company Cirque la Compagnie was created in 2014 by students from the École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal. It offers a modern, popular, virtuoso, acrobatic, and musical form of circus. The company’s first creation, Planche-Mat, turned heads at the Young Stage festival in Basel in 2016, where it won four awards, including the Cirque du Soleil prize and the bronze medal. Pandax is the company’s first show under a big top.
