Acrobatic lifts
Sat. Jan. 31

Part of the Les Élancées festival

There is an indomitable, wild, and profoundly free force within all of us. Director Yaron Lifschitz captures this in his striking creation that combines high-level performance with poetry. On stage, ten acrobats reveal their animal side. Like wolves, they emerge from chaos before blending into a ferocious pack, guided by tremendous energy. To the beat of an electro soundtrack, their bodies brush against each other, collide, then come together in a breathless dance. Spectacular lifts, impossible balances, and falls caught at the last moment compose this choreography of rare power. All of this comes together to create an intense work that celebrates the vitality of the collective.
