The combination of an artist-run center (La Gare Franche) and an accredited theater (Le Merlan) makes for a radiant, flexible, and inventive national theater: welcome to Le ZEF! Dance, theater, photography, music, circus, but also environmental stewardship and gastronomy… Much more than a theater, LE ZEF is a place of life and encounters, a space conducive to hands-on practice and discussion… Thanks to a diversity of venues (stage, studio, cinema…) and unique resources (kitchen and shared gardens), LE ZEF offers diverse possibilities in the northern neighborhoods of Marseille.
