Open since 1986, the theatre seats between 726 and 820 people. It can also be transformed into a 900-seat tiered auditorium thanks to a system of modular platforms. The back of the stage opens onto a 600-seat outdoor amphitheatre. All these possibilities enable Théâtre La Colonne to offer a wide range of programming.

Located 45 minutes from Marseille and Aix-en-Provence and 20 minutes from Salon-de-Provence, Théâtre La Colonne is near Lac Saint-Suspi, between the Lycée Jean Cocteau and the library.
